After years working across commercial maintenance, new builds, and refits, Zac McDonald kept seeing the same thing, customers being let down. Poor workmanship left behind without a second thought. Jobs finished to the minimum standard. Phone calls that went unanswered. Invoices that didn't match what was discussed.
It frustrated him. Not because the work was hard, but because it didn't have to be that way. The skills were there in the industry. The care just wasn't.
Mac Utilities was founded in 2024 with one goal: raise the bar for what South Australians can expect from a plumber. That means doing the job right the first time, communicating clearly throughout, and leaving every property in better shape than you found it.

Title: Owner - Licensed Plumber
Zac has worked across commercial maintenance, new builds, hospitality, and domestic plumbing throughout his career. He started Mac Utilities in 2022 after seeing too many jobs left in poor condition by tradespeople who didn't care. His goal is simple, do the work properly, communicate honestly, and treat every customer's home like his own. Zac also has experience with data cable infrastructure and security camera installation.
Joshua Harris
Title: Qualified Plumber
Josh qualified at TAFE SA and has been challenging himself with everything the trade has to offer since. He brings the same standards to every job, friendly, professional, and hardworking. Customers can count on Josh to show up prepared, communicate clearly, and get the job done properly the first time.
